A community staple since 2002, RPS is the go-to destination for locals and visitors alike to find laugh-out-loud greeting cards, journals, stylish desk accessories, calendars, planners and modern gifts for every day. ​ Photo by Eric Kelley Photography When friends and daughters of respective small business owners, Dani Antol and Heather Haynie, learned that Rock Paper Scissors was for sale, they jumped at the chance to live out their paper dreams and purchased the shop in 2010. Together, the two began a new era for the beloved brand. ​ ​ Photo by Eric Kelley Photography While keeping the art of letter writing, gift wrapping and sleek desk organization alive through a carefully curated selection from top brands around the country, the true magic at RPS can be found on the “Wall of Inspiration." Located on the back wall of the shop are countless samples of wedding invitations, save the dates, stationery, business cards, announcements, you name it, all customized by Charlottesville’s favorite paperistas. As Charlottesville has grown to become a nationally-recognized wedding destination, so has Dani and Heather’s shared passion for working with couples to bring their wedding vision to life in the paper goods for their big day. Learn more about their process and the custom services that Rock Paper Scissors offers on the following pages. ​ All love is welcome here! ​ Please call or email to set up your complimentary, no-obligation appointment so we can best assist you. ​ If you are fully vaccinated, we no longer require retail customers to wear masks. Our staff will continue to wear them for hte timing being, and you are welcome to do whatever feels most comfortable for you. However, we do still require masks for custom appointments due to the prolonged proximity. Thanks in advance for your compliance. As of March 10, store hours are: Sunday – Monday CLOSED Tuesdays 11am - 5pm Wednesdays 11am - 5pm Thursdays 11am - 5pm Fridays 10am - 5pm Saturdays 10am - 5pm ​ If you are interested in custom stationery, please contact us to schedule an appointment. You can check instagram or facebook or our front door for the most up-to-date schedule as sometimes we are not able to staff all of these hours. Here are a few helpful notes on shipping and returns: ​ ​ SHIPPING INFO: Shipping costs are based on the weight of your entire order and will be calculated as you are checking out. Please note that due to COVID-19, we will be coordinating pick ups (and shipping) during our open hours, which are: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am - 5pm; Fridays and Saturdays from 10am - 5pm. Should you need something by a certain date, email us in advance to find out if it’s feasible (but still not guaranteed). Once a package leaves our hands, the timing is out of our control, and shipments may take longer than normal in this unprecedented time. ​ At this time, we are not accepting international orders. If you live abroad and would like something shipped, please send us an email: with the desired items / quantities, along with a mailing address and we can send you a shipping quote. ​ ​ RETAIL RETURN POLICY: Is the item you purchased not quite what you were expecting? We do not accept returns but we can exchange unopened and unused products for another product or store credit. Shipping will not be credited and you are responsible for return shipping to us. Used and opened items can not be exchanged for another item or store credit. All sale items are final sale. Issue with your order? If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out to us via email or phone! If we have the item in stock in our physical shop we are still happy to ship it to you. Please note, items are currently subject to prior sale. What payment methods do you accept? We accept all the major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. At this time, we are not able to accept gift cards for purchases in our online store. If you have a gift card you would like to use, send us an email: with the items you’d like to purchase, where you want it shipped, and the gift card amount and # and we’ll be in touch to process the rest! ​ Can I return a product I bought in the online shop? We do not accept returns, but we can exchange the item for store credit or another product in the shop. Visit our Shipping + Returns information above. How do I report a missing or damaged item? Email us at within 7 days of delivery to report a damaged or missing item. Do you sell gift cards? We do! We sell them here in our online store and our physical shop. BUT...we are not currently accepting gift certificates as payment in our online store.
