PART-TIME GRAPHIC DESIGNER

rock paper scissors is seeking a part-time graphic designer with an aesthetic similar to our style to work in a collaborative environment that has achieved both local and national recognition online and in print. must be willing to learn and to take creative/art direction and constructive criticism; needs to be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment, often switching from one project to the next with tight turnaround times (we can’t change their wedding dates!) web knowledge a plus! must be available to work onsite.

Projects include:

• event branding / wedding invitation design and supporting products
(save the dates, welcome notes, programs, menus, escort cards, table numbers, etc.)

• variable data merging

• small business collateral (logo design, stationery, business cards, brochures/marketing materials, web, etc.)

• personal client design needs (party invitations, birth announcements, stationery, business cards, etc.)

• production & preparing for print in various printing formats (digital, offset, letterpress, thermography, engraving, foil)

• hands on production on projects: invitation assembly, tying bows on wedding programs, creating drink stirrers, cutting out signs, etc. (bring your inner Martha Stewart)

• RPS internal design needs, including store branding (signage, print + social media ads, web updates (CMS editing), mailchimp, window displays, etc.)

*proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a must. 
**a natural feel for fonts & design principals a plus!

***illustration skills a huge plus!
